Moncler Fifth Avenue Flagship Launch Draws Hollywood To New York
September 11, 2026
Cher, Julia Roberts & Anne Hathaway Mark Moncler's Largest Store Worldwide Opening
The Moncler Fifth Avenue flagship made its New York debut on September 10, the first day of New York Fashion Week, unveiling Moncler’s largest store worldwide inside the General Motors Building at 767 Fifth Avenue. Nearly 24,000 square feet across two floors bring together Moncler Collection, Genius collaborations, footwear and an entire level dedicated to Grenoble, alongside Moncler to Measure, the maison’s first made-to-order service.
Cher, Julia Roberts and Anne Hathaway led the celebrity arrivals at Moncler’s flagship grand-opening cocktail and dinner. Hathaway arrived with her husband, Adam Shulman, in head-to-toe Moncler denim, while the wider guest list brought film, fashion and entertainment together around the new flagship.
Inside Moncler’s Largest Store Worldwide
Paris interiors studio Gilles & Boissier designed the two-story flagship. Eight-meter ceilings rise above stone, timber, mirrored surfaces and works by artists including Ugo Rondinone, whose sculptural stone installation connects the two floors.
The ground floor houses the main Moncler Collection, footwear and Moncler Genius projects. Upstairs, an entire level belongs to Moncler Grenoble, including ski clothing, après-ski pieces, hiking layers and collaborations with Stöckli, POC and Shaun White’s WHITESPACE.
The Fifth Avenue flagship also introduces Moncler to Measure, Moncler’s first made-to-order atelier. You can personalize selected outerwear through different materials, finishes, and logo treatments. The store also carries LoveFrom, Moncler's line developed with Jony Ive’s LoveFrom, alongside New York exclusives.

New York In Moncler Marks Two Decades In The City
The launch coincides with New York in Moncler, a five-day retrospective running through September 13 across Manhattan and inside Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal. The project looks back at more than 20 years of Moncler events in New York, including A Hudson Hike at Chelsea Piers, A Grand Groove at Grand Central Terminal and A Central Skate at Wollman Rink. Alicia Keys narrates the accompanying film over previously unreleased music, connecting those earlier New York moments with the new Fifth Avenue flagship.
