Cadar, The New York Fine Jewelry Maison, Translates Its Jewelry Codes Into Circle Of Light

Light has always structured Cadar. You see it in the way gold curves, unfolds, and catches movement. This season at Salone del Mobile in Milan, the New York Maison extends that idea beyond jewelry. The narrative shifts into object design with Circle of Light, a candle concept translating the brand’s visual language into glass, scent, and ambience.

Presented at the Venini booth, the Project places Cadar inside a different discipline while holding onto the same codes. Form, repetition, reflection. Light as material.

Cadar Translates Its Jewelry Codes Into Object Design

Circle of Light unfolds as a series of hand-blown glass modules produced by Venini, the Murano glassmaker with over a century of savoir-faire. The element stack into a sphere, a shape that already sits at the core of Cadar’s jewelry collections. Rings, pendants, and earrings follow the same logic. Circular volumes. Continuous lines. Pieces designed to move with light rather than sit still.

The Colors are saturated with tones echoing the palette seen across collections like Light, Bloom, and Reflections. The glass holds depth; the surface captures and diffuses light in the same way polished gold does on the body.

The fragrances, developed with master perfumer Alberto Morillas, follow the same structure. Names align directly with the Maison’s collections. Water, Endless, Psyche, Feathers. The olfactory layer reinforces what the eye already reads. A complete system, expressed through multiple senses. The result sits between design object and collectible. Functional, but conceived as sculpture.
