NADA, KNOWN FOR SUPPORTING EMERGING GALLERIES, IS LAUNCHING THE SALON IN PARIS FROM OCTOBER 17–20, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE COMMUNITY. THIS NEW ART FAIR WILL FEATURE 46 GALLERIES IN A FORMER SNCF TRAINING CENTER, OFFERING A MIX OF ART, MUSIC, FASHION, AND PUBLISHING.

The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA), renowned for its role in the art world as a platform for emerging galleries, is partnering with The Community to launch a new art fair called The Salon by NADA and The Community. This exciting event will run from October 17th to 20th, right in the heart of Paris’s lively 10th arrondissement.

Taking place at a former SNCF training center—an expansive, five-floor venue—the fair promises to be a dynamic addition to the Paris art scene. The space, located at 76 Boulevard de Magenta, will be transformed for four days into a hub of artistic and cultural activity.

The Salon aims to offer a fresh perspective on the art fair format, showcasing a range of disciplines including art, music, fashion, and publishing. With 46 galleries on board, attendees can look forward to a diverse lineup. Exhibitors include 2 Walker, Harper’s, Nil, and No Agency x Cafe Forgot, as well as prominent NADA members such as Sorry We’re Closed, OLYMPIA, and Carbon 12.

Tuukka Laurila, founder and director of The Community, reflects on the fair’s mission: “The Salon represents our commitment to exploring new ways of experiencing art. By drawing inspiration from historic Parisian Salons and blending it with a contemporary twist, we’re aiming to offer a unique exploration of today’s cultural and artistic landscapes.”

This new fair will also feature a book fair on October 19th, enhancing its appeal to a broader audience. The Salon’s format promises an intimate experience compared to larger fairs, and its collaboration with The Community ensures an unconventional and alternative cultural experience.

The event will coincide with the 10th edition of Paris Internationale, known for its focus on young and influential galleries. It marks NADA’s first major event outside the U.S., highlighting Paris as a growing center for contemporary art.
