As the dawn of 2024 unfolds, Paris readies itself for a spectacle of glamour and sartorial splendor. Known as the “capital of fashion,” Paris is set to host iconic Fashion Weeks and luxurious Maison shows, accompanied by numerous professional salons and showrooms that complement the main runway events. Here’s a guide to the fashion events shaping the first quarter of 2024 in Paris:

MEN’S FASHION WEEK: JANUARY 16 – 21, 2024

The fashion marathon kicks off with the Men’s Fashion Week, featuring a dynamic lineup of established and emerging designers. Highlights include LVMH Prize finalist Burç Akyol opening the event, with Pharrell Williams presenting his collection as Louis Vuitton’s menswear creative director on Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. Balmain and Valentino make a return to the men’s calendar on Jan. 20. Matthew M. HAUTE COUTURE: JANUARY 22 – 25, 2024

Haute Couture Week from January 22 to 25 promises an intense program. Maison Margiela makes a triumphant return after a three-year absence, presenting John Galliano’s Artisanal line on January 25. Schiaparelli opens the season on January 22, followed by Christian Dior, Giambattista Valli, Chanel, Giorgio Armani Privé, Elie Saab and Valentino. Man/Woman (Men’s Fashion): January 19 – 21, 2024 This independent salon, held at iconic venues like Hôtel d’Evreux and Pavillon Vendôme, highlights high-end brands with a contemporary and urban flair. From Pilgrim’s lifestyle label to Japanese exhibitors like Nanamica, fashion enthusiasts can explore a rich tapestry of styles.

Who’s Next: January 20 – 22, 2024 As the largest event in early 2024, Who’s Next brings together nearly 1,800 brands, suppliers, and partners at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. This BtoB fashion extravaganza, celebrating its 30th year, encompasses various salons like Impact, Bijorhca, Traffic, Neonyt Paris, Salon International de la Lingerie, and Interfilière Paris.

Welcome Edition: January 18 – 21, 2024 The British showroom Welcome Edition returns to Paris, showcasing around a hundred French and international exhibitors. From sophisticated menswear by De Bonne Facture to colorful alpaca socks from Patapaca, this event promises an eclectic display of global fashion.

Texworld Evolution Paris: February 5 – 7, 2024 A sourcing essential, Texworld Evolution Paris, transitions to Porte de Versailles from Bourget. Over 1,450 exhibitors from 127 countries will present textiles, clothing, and accessories, making it an indispensable event for industry professionals.

Première Vision Paris: February 6 – 8, 2024 Catering to raw material buyers, Première Vision Paris focuses on upstream fashion elements. With over 1,200 international exhibitors, it showcases a vast array of fabrics, accessories, and footwear.

Tranoï (Women’s Fashion): February 29 – March 3, 2024 Continuing in February, Tranoï’s women’s edition at Palais Brongniart features international designers, including delegations from Africa, South Korea, Germany, and Peru. Celebrating ancestral craftsmanship and modern technologies, this event promises a captivating blend of creativity.

Première Classe: March 1 – 4, 2024 Dedicated to fashion accessories, Première Classe aligns with Paris Fashion Week for Women. From neo-romantic shoes to high-end bags and prêt-à-porter labels like La Prestic Ouiston, this event at Jardin des Tuileries offers a diverse selection.
