A new cabaret inside Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is about to become the only place outside Paris where you can see Crazy Horse as a permanent show. Beginning in November, The Dubai Edition brings the cabaret’s dancers, sculpted light, choreography, and couture costumes to Palm Jumeirah, yet the night will not simply reproduce Avenue George V. Five performance areas spread the show across the room, dinner unfolds between tableaux, and once the final performance ends, a DJ takes over.
Crazy Horse has remained at the same Paris address since 1951, making Dubai far more than another international tour. Zabeel Theatre has been completely reworked around a faithful reproduction of the original Crazy Horse stage, joined by four additional performance areas placed throughout the room. Instead of keeping the choreography fixed in front of the audience, the Dubai production pushes it outward, bringing the dancers much closer to the tables and private loges.

Crazy Horse Reworks Its Paris Codes for Dubai
The Dubai troupe includes 18 dancers, all trained in Paris for several months, with 12 performing each evening. Signature tableaux from the Crazy Horse repertoire return alongside new creations conceived specifically for Dubai, while more than 500 costume elements were crafted for the production in the cabaret’s Paris atelier under designer Antoine Kruk.
The theatre extends the Crazy Horse world beyond the main stage. Private loges wrap around the room, a French-inspired bar carries the evening into the intervals, and The Legacy Hall traces the cabaret’s history and artistic collaborations through photographs and archival material. The familiar Paris codes remain intact, but the Dubai version spreads them across a much more fluid setting.
The strongest departure comes with the Show & Dinner format. A three-course dinner unfolds alongside Crazy Horse tableaux, specialty performers, a Master of Ceremonies, and live musical interludes, turning the performance into a full evening rather than a single 90-minute show. After the final tableau, the room shifts again as a DJ takes over and the night continues.
