Etro Fall/Winter 2025/26: Legends Woven in Silk and Myth
February 28, 2025 – Milan Fashion Week, Etro Fall/Winter 2025/26

Marco De Vincenzo rewrites Etro’s story, layering mythology, art, and futurism into a single vision. His Fall/Winter 2025/26 collection at Milan Fashion Week feels both ancient and otherworldly, poetic yet rebellious.
The runway, divided by a monumental curtain of ceramic tiles—a collaboration with artist collective Numero Cromatico—sets the tone. It veils, reveals, and transforms, just like the collection itself. The inspiration is fluid: Egyptian gods, cosmic theories, avant-garde literature. Stories dissolve and reform, stitched into brocades, silk chiffons, and jacquards.
Prints whisper of forgotten worlds. Maxi florals bloom across liquid silk dresses. Denim, unexpectedly rich, unfolds in embroidered fantasies of flora and fauna. Metallic-threaded coats flicker like relics from an imagined past. Every piece speaks to a woman who moves between realms—earthly and celestial, rooted yet untethered.

Primal Elegance and Raw Textures
Knitted furs open the show, but they are not what they seem. Instead of classic pelts, De Vincenzo crafts wool flakes into coats, sculpting a look that feels both primal and forward-thinking. Maxi explorer hats and shaggy collars nod to barbaric opulence, while robe de chambre coats glide like relics of an imagined dynasty.
The contrast defines the collection. Sequined dresses shimmer like coded messages, pill-shaped embellishments rustling with movement. They feel designed for a space-born goddess—part queen, part wanderer. At every turn, Etro’s heritage collides with subtle pop infusions. A Napoleonic bee trapped in amber, alien-like jewelry, and painterly embroideries—all born from a collaboration with Korean artist Maria Jeon.
Etro Fall/Winter 2025/26 is building new myths, and embodying new identities.

A New Pantheon of Femininity
Etro’s woman is not bound by time. She wears cosmic floral jacquards with the ease of loungewear. She moves through reality with fluid silk drapery trailing behind her. Her look is part modern-day oracle, part futuristic warrior.
This collection is a declaration! The world shifts, and she shifts with it. In textures, in layers, in the constant reinvention of what it means to be powerful.
