Fauchon planted its flag north of Bryant Park last December. The Parisian institution opened its new Manhattan flagship on December 15, 2025, marking a strategic return to American soil after nearly 140 years of gastronomic dominance from Place de la Madeleine.

This is Fauchon's comeback moment. The Maison, founded in 1886 by Auguste Fauchon, a thirty year old from Normandy who started selling premium fruits and vegetables before expanding into pastries, tea salons, and eventually global presence, now brings that heritage to New York through a partnership with Restaurant Associates.

    What You'll Find Inside

The flagship packs everything into one address. An artisanal bakery. A fine foods boutique. A barista bar. A café serving all day dining. A private dining room for custom experiences. Executive Chef Mat Bednarczyk runs the kitchen alongside Sébastien Monceaux, Executive Chef at Fauchon Paris.

The menu translates French classics while nodding to American staples, breakfast through lunch and brunch. Bicultural cooking that exports Parisian savoir faire while respecting local tastes. This is how Fauchon operates: tradition meeting the neighborhood it lands in.

Beyond the tables, curated shelves hold fine foods, confections, savory specialties, beverages, and gift items. You can eat in or take Paris home in a box.

Fauchon New York Joins a Global Legacy

This opening follows Fauchon's 2018 launch of Fauchon L'Hôtel Paris, the Maison's first five star boutique hotel on Place de la Madeleine. Present in over twenty countries now, from Japan since 1972 to the Middle East, Fauchon keeps pushing French gastronomy onto global stages.

Pierre Hermé, Christophe Adam, Christophe Felder, Christophe Michalak, Cédric Grolet—France's greatest pastry chefs shaped their craft within Fauchon's walls. That legacy now gets a New York chapter.
