This autumn, the French luxury trunk-maker Moynat, a quiet star of the LVMH portfolio, unveiled an unprecedented collaboration with Hong Kong artist Kasing Lung. Celebrating the tenth anniversary of Lung’s creations, The Monsters, it prominently features the internet sensation, Labubu. Across Moynat’s monogrammed canvases and leathers, the artist’s fantastical bestiary comes to life.
In the process, the collection marks Moynat’s boldest step into contemporary pop culture, marrying its 19th-century artisan heritage with the playful energy of a digital-age phenomenon.
The collaboration takes shape as a limited edition collection of bags and small leather goods. Front and center, Zimomo and King Mon appear alongside the fanged Labubu.
