At the Musée Bonnard in Le Cannet, Bonnard Intime: Les Toilettes de Marthe explores the private world of Marthe Bonnard, the wife and muse Pierre Bonnard painted repeatedly through bathing, dressing, and moments at her toilette. The exhibition brings together paintings, drawings, and works on paper that follow these intimate rituals, while also introducing an olfactory element through Maison Godet’s Fleurs de Reine.

Bvlgari Kaleidos Shanghai brings the Roman Maison’s High Jewelry and heritage to the Power Station of Art, where Chinese philosophy and contemporary art reshape its story of color. Running through October 31, 2026, Kaleidos: Colors, Cultures and Crafts also extends to Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai with art, photography and a limited-edition Bvlgari Dolci collection.

More than 200 shoes take over the historic Coupole Wybo at Printemps Haussmann for Pas à Pas, an exhibition exploring how footwear shapes fashion, movement, proportion, and the body. Across 11 themes, discover pieces by Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood, Roger Vivier, ballet shoes worn by Aurélie Dupont, museum loans, private collections, and Printemps archives.

Irish Designer and Sculptor Joseph Walsh is known for working with wood on an extraordinary scale, bending and carving timber into sweeping sculptural forms. This September, he brings his monumental outdoor sculptures to Europe for the first time with Arcanum Formae at Hôtel de Sully.

Created specifically for the 17th-century hôtel particulier, the Exhibition runs from the Orangerie into the gardens. Walsh works with rare and century-old trees, allowing the grain, age, and natural curves of the timber to shape each piece. Arcanum Formae introduces new works created for Paris, including Walsh's first monumental outdoor sculptures presented in Europe.

Opening during Paris Design Week 2026, the Arcanum Formae Exhibition remains at Hôtel de Sully through October 25, 2026, covering Art Basel Paris 2026 as well.

The Petit Palais presents Eva Gonzalès: A Free-Spirited Artist from September 15, 2026, to January 24, 2027, with the first major retrospective devoted to the French painter Eva Gonzalès.

A contemporary of Berthe Morisot and Mary Cassatt, Gonzalès was the only formal pupil of Édouard Manet, yet her work has never previously been the subject of a major retrospective in France or internationally. The exhibition brings together almost 100 paintings, pastels and prints, tracing the development of an artist who established her own voice within the Parisian art world of the late 19th century.

Organized in collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, where the exhibition will travel in February 2027, the retrospective also benefits from the support of the Musée d’Orsay.

Bringing together 70 works from major museum and private collections across Europe and North America, the exhibition spans more than four decades of Marshall’s practice and includes eight new paintings created specifically for the project. Known for placing Black figures at the center of large-scale compositions, Marshall draws on art history, everyday life and collective memory while questioning who has historically been represented within Western painting.

Organized by the Royal Academy of Arts in London in collaboration with Kunsthaus Zürich, The Histories gives collectors and contemporary art followers a rare opportunity to see significant works by Marshall together in Paris, including pieces rarely shown outside their permanent or private collections.

The Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris presents Simone Fattal: Cities at the Bottom of a Lake from September 18, 2026, to January 24, 2027, with around 100 works spanning more than five decades of the Lebanese American artist’s career.

Paintings, ceramics, sculptures, collages and works on paper reveal the breadth of Fattal’s practice. Loans from museum and private collections. Her work is shaped by archaeology, mythology and the Mediterranean, with recurring references to ancient civilizations, epic narratives and landscapes marked by history and displacement.

ICICLE presents A Room of One’s Own, the first Shanghai exhibition by French photographer Ilion Huit, bringing together 25 recent photographs inspired by Virginia Woolf’s seminal 1929 essay of the same name. Curated by Myriam Kryger, the exhibition explores the idea of having a space entirely one’s own, not simply as a physical room, but as a private territory for thought, imagination, freedom, and creation.

A member of the Hermès family, Huit has deliberately kept a low public profile, working under a pseudonym while allowing his photographs to carry the narrative. “Ilion” is another name for Troy in Homer, a reference that reflects his fascination with memory, disappearance, travel, and the passage of time. Photography has accompanied him since childhood, although his encounter with the Leica M6 became decisive in shaping the quiet, observant approach that defines his work.

The exhibition begins indoors, with photographs of sparsely furnished rooms punctuated by a typewriter, a vase, a lamp, or a table. Windows and doors repeatedly interrupt these interiors, drawing the eye toward another landscape and gradually dissolving the boundary between private space and the outside world. As the series progresses, rooms recede in favor of skies, sea, distant horizons, changing light, reflections, and fleeting figures.

Among the 25 photographs are intimate images of Huit’s daughter absorbed in thought and photographs taken at Sissinghurst Castle, the historic home of writer and poet Vita Sackville-West, whose relationship with Virginia Woolf became part of literary history. Huit also draws inspiration from writers including Marcel Proust and Jack London, treating the room as a place from which imagination can travel far beyond its walls.

Huit searches for brief moments that might otherwise disappear: shifting light, an unexpected reflection, a passing figure, or a landscape glimpsed through a window. A Room of One’s Own turns these fragments into a meditation on solitude, memory, beauty, and the freedom that can come from withdrawing temporarily into one’s own interior world.

The exhibition continues ICICLE’s cultural program connecting art, literature, design, and fashion between France and China, placing Huit’s photography inside the Franco-Chinese maison’s Shanghai cultural space.

The Burberry Trench: Crafting an Icon runs at the V&A South Kensington in London from September 21, 2026, to January 3, 2027, tracing 170 years of Burberry through the coat that became one of British fashion’s most recognizable signatures.

Palazzo Reale explores Salvador Dalí's lifelong relationship with fashion through more than 200 works, from paintings, drawings and photographs to garments, jewelry, films and archival pieces. Dalí e la Moda traces his collaborations with Schiaparelli, Chanel, Dior and Paco Rabanne, revealing how clothing, accessories and the body became part of his Surrealist universe.

The Exhibition also turns to Gala Dalí, his wife and muse, with pieces from her personal wardrobe presented publicly in Italy for the first time. Curated by Montse Aguer, Judith Clark and Laura Bartolomé Roviras.

The exhibition pairs garments worn by artists including Gustav Klimt, Rosa Bonheur, Foujita, Sonia Delaunay and Camille Bernier with paintings, sculptures, photographs and works on paper. From studio smocks and workwear to carefully styled public appearances, clothing becomes part of the way artists defined their identity, challenged convention and presented themselves to the world.

The show also looks at artists who treated dress as an extension of their creative practice, including Sonia Delaunay, whose use of color and geometric pattern crossed between painting, textiles and fashion.

Presented at the Musée Bourdelle with support from the Musée des Arts Décoratifs and the Musée d’Orsay, the exhibition places fashion inside a broader history of artistic self-presentation rather than treating clothing simply as costume.

Métamorphoses, les chapeaux de Maison Michel hat exhibition, celebrates the Parisian milliner’s craftsmanship through the techniques, materials, and archival forms behind its creations. Presented at La Galerie du 19M, the exhibition explores Maison Michel’s work with felt, straw, satin ribbons, veils, and traditional wooden hat blocks, while highlighting its role within Chanel’s Métiers d’art ecosystem.

The exhibition brings together runway pieces, archival references, collaborations, and examples of the specialist savoir-faire used to shape each hat. Visitors can also discover Maison Michel’s historic collection of more than 3,000 wooden forms, alongside workshops, guided tours, and talks scheduled throughout the exhibition.

10 Corso Como presents the first Italian Exhibition dedicated to Dutch Fashion Artists Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, bringing together 20 Haute Couture looks spanning more than three decades of Viktor&Rolf. Curated by Alessio de Navasques, Spectrum traces the recurring forms, contrasts and visual codes that connect the duo's work across fashion, art and performance.

The exhibition brings together almost 100 paintings, pastels and prints, tracing the development of an artist who established her own voice within the Parisian art world of the late 19th century.

Organized in collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, where the exhibition will travel in February 2027, the retrospective also benefits from the support of the Musée d’Orsay.
