Grand Marnier Invites You to The "Grand Merci Pop-Up": A Fermented Margarita Experience & Kit

This holiday season, two icons of Parisian creativity are joining forces for a collaboration that will redefine your understanding of a classic. From November 22 to December 7, 2025, Grand Marnier is taking over the legendary Used Book Café inside the concept-store Merci for “The Grand Merci“: an exclusive pop-up experience dedicated to the art of the cocktail.

At the heart of this event is a radical reinvention of the iconic Grand’ Margarita. Under the theme “Fermentation is the new Sour,” Grand Marnier’s Master Blender, Patrick Léger, has partnered with fermentation expert Hugo Chaise (founder of My Fermentation and a Noma Lab alumnus) to explore new flavors. They have replaced the traditional lime juice with a fermented paste of bitter Bigarade orange, the very signature citrus of Grand Marnier, resulting in a cocktail with a softer, more complex acidity and intriguing umami notes, finished with a bespoke bitter orange salt rim.
